The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is the 9th largest transit system in the US. For over 35 years, MARTA has provided bus, rail and paratransit services to the city of Atlanta, Clayton, Fulton and DeKalb county.
The goal of the website redesign was to increase their ridership, and revive their brand; MARTA sought to leverage user research to create a mobile friendly and responsive website.
I assisted initial user interviews that would allow us to establish personas that would be used to guide the design process. Following that, I conducted usability tests to establish a baseline of functionality for the website. Here, I also used contextual research to learn how visually impaired users interacted with the site. This process was instrumental in making sure the website was ADA compliant upon release and accessible to all users.Back to Main
